Texas Air Net
Project Overview
Texas Air Net is a small, but growing wireless internet provider in the Dallas, Ft. Worth metropolitan area of Texas. A new online presence was long overdue, in addition to a totally new corporate identity.
Texas Air Net proved to be a fun project that allowed me to expand my creative skills. The logo in particular was very satisfying to see as it took shape. I learned valuable communication skills too. Initial feedback to the early logo design was not favorable, but by the time the project was delivered, the client was thankful for my persistence.
Project Details
- Client:
- Texas Air Net Inc.
- Roles:
- Creative Direction
- Challenge:
- Texas Air Net struggled for years with a weak corporate identity and a very difficult website–in terms of usability and content delivery. They requested a new corporate identity that balanced the rugged, cowboy grit of Texas, with the progressive sophistication of technology.
- Toolset:
- CSSEdit
- Process:
- The logo was built with careful attention to typography. Raw materials were used to create the worn effect of the logo, rather than resorting to computer effects. The website conformed to, or exceeded prior milestones at every stage of the project. Each comp submitted to the client perfectly matched prior artwork.
- Result:
- The new corporate identity marries both challenges and strengthens the whole company image. The website far surpassed client expectations.
